Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

1. Operator Information

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PTW. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use PTW only with permission from, and under the responsibility of, a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information where requested
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and account
• You must not share, sell, rent, gift, or transfer your account except where we expressly permit it
• You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless and to the extent caused by our own fault. We may suspend or secure an account where necessary to protect the user, other players, or the service.

4. License Grant (EULA)

PTW is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the PTW launcher, client, and related services for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

Except for this limited license, we reserve all rights, title, and interest in PTW and all associated software, code, databases, content, visual materials, trademarks, and other intellectual property.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not:

• cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized modifications, inject code, use packet manipulation, or use unauthorized third-party tools
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from PTW except where mandatory law expressly permits it
• use bots, macros, scripts, automation, or unauthorized APIs
• interfere with servers, networking, matchmaking, databases, or infrastructure
• attempt to bypass security, anti-abuse, anti-cheat, bans, restrictions, or account/session controls
• harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or otherwise harm other users or staff
• upload, transmit, or use illegal, infringing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate content
• use PTW commercially without our prior written permission, including account boosting, account selling, or commercial exploitation of in-game services

6. Fair Play, Moderation, and Enforcement

To protect PTW and its players, we may monitor gameplay, technical integrity, account activity, and reports of misconduct. This may include reviewing logs, session data, gameplay events, security indicators, and related technical information.

Where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, we may take proportionate enforcement action, including warnings, chat restrictions, matchmaking restrictions, rollbacks, entitlement removal, temporary suspension, permanent bans, or related security measures. In serious cases, action may be taken without prior notice.

7. User Content and Feedback

If PTW allows usernames, profile elements, messages, screenshots, forum posts, support submissions, or other user-provided material, you remain responsible for what you submit.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, moderate, and use such content solely as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote PTW.

If you send us suggestions, feedback, bug reports, or ideas, you agree that we may use them without obligation to compensate you.

8. Virtual Items, Currency, and Progression

PTW may include virtual currency, premium time, vehicles, cosmetics, consumables, statistics, progression, unlocks, and other in-game or account-based digital features (collectively, "Virtual Content").

Virtual Content is licensed as part of the service. It has no real-world ownership rights, no cash value, and no right of redemption or transfer except where we expressly allow it.

We may modify, rebalance, replace, retire, reset, or remove Virtual Content where reasonably necessary for operations, balancing, security, legal compliance, or product development. This is especially likely during testing, pre-release, or live-service balancing.

9. Purchases, Pricing, and Consumer Rights

PTW may offer paid digital content, premium features, or other paid entitlements. Prices, available payment methods, and taxes will be shown during checkout where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital content, digital services, goods, refunds required by law, or unlawful charges.

Where PTW supplies digital content not provided on a tangible medium and you ask for immediate performance, your statutory right of withdrawal may be lost after performance begins if, before supply starts, you have expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged the loss of that withdrawal right, as required by applicable law.

Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, purchases are non-transferable and tied to the relevant account.

10. Refunds, Cancellations, and Chargebacks

Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but any refund practice we choose to offer does not limit your mandatory consumer rights.

If you initiate an unjustified chargeback, payment reversal, or abusive refund claim, we may restrict the associated account or purchased entitlements while the matter is investigated, subject to applicable law.

11. Updates, Maintenance, and Changes to PTW

PTW is an evolving online service. We may patch, update, rebalance, maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, item, server, mode, mechanic, or part of the service at any time.

We do not guarantee that PTW, any particular feature, or any particular item will remain available forever.

12. Service Availability

PTW is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Availability may be affected by maintenance, outages, attacks, bugs, development changes, third-party failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with all hardware or software, or permanent retention of any specific gameplay state.

13. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using PTW at any time. Subject to applicable law, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to PTW where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, enforcement of these Terms, or protection of the service and its users.

Upon termination, your right to use PTW ends immediately. Depending on the reason for termination, access to Virtual Content, progression, or purchased entitlements may also end, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.

14. Intellectual Property

All rights in PTW, including software, code, databases, text, graphics, art, audio, game mechanics, branding, logos, and related materials, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, publicly perform, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from PTW except as expressly permitted by us or by mandatory law.

15. Warranties and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising out of or in connection with PTW.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for intentional misconduct, fraud, or other liability that must remain in place by law.

16. Governing Law and Consumer Protections

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of habitual residence gives you additional protection that cannot be derogated from by contract.

17. Complaints and Out-of-Court Consumer Disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@projecttankwars.com and we will try to resolve it directly.

If you are a consumer and the dispute is not resolved directly, you may have the right to use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution. In the Czech Republic, the competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, ČOI):

The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer the current channel for submitting online consumer disputes.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date. Where required by law, we will take reasonable steps to notify users of material changes. Continued use of PTW after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
